DSM Security install and maintain modern, highly sophisticated wireless burglar alarms that have come a long way from older systems that used to be triggered by your cat or dog. Instead your main control panel in most cases would be hidden out of the way and all you would have to control your system would be a small LCD remote keypad. System can now be installed wirelessly and if preferred, the keypads can be installed as proximity systems, meaning that the system can be set and unset by simply presenting a proximity keyring style fob to your keypad.

In recent years the regulations on burglar alarm systems have significantly changed. Depending on your business type your insurance company may request you to have either a grade 2 or grade 3 system.
Both grade 2 and grade 3 systems have to be installed with conformation detection, meaning the ARC (Alarm Receiving Centre) will only contact the police once the system has confirmed it is not a false alarm.
To achieve this 2 different types of security devices have to be tripped within a certain amount of time. For example, on the main door to a building we’d recommend a door contact, then inside the premises a PIR detector covering the area just after the same door. If an intruder breaks through the door then steps inside, first the door contact will trigger and then the PIR sensor will follow, those 2 actions combined are classed as a confirmed alarm.
When we install any alarm system, be it a wired, hybrid or wireless burglar alarm system, the last thing we want is any problems. For this reason DSM Security will only install equipment from leading manufacturers in the security industry such as Honeywell, Pyronix, Castle Care Tech and Yuasa.
